Their skills are further improved playing games one to two times a week against other rookie division teams. The use of a pitching machine in this division allows for more hittable balls at the plate and more action in the field. In the spring, some players may have the opportunity to experience participation in post-season tournament play.
Players in this age group will have evaluations the week of January 20th (more information to be provided) and will be drafted on teams by coaches. The head coach can select one assistant coach and his/her son or daughter to lock onto the team. All other players and related coaches must be drafted. There will be 2 games (1 on Saturday and 1 Monday-Thursday) and 1 practice per week. The day of the game and practice during the week can vary.

Coaching is a truly rewarding, exciting, and FUN experience that you will never forget. The success of our league, and the development of our players, is dependent on volunteers to coach our teams. You do not need an extensive baseball background to be a coach. The most important criteria is to create a fun environment where kids enjoy playing baseball. As a head coach, you will be able to choose your practice day and time each week, and select your team. Please click the link below to register.
